About Us
Wendy Briggs and Jeff Sandquist met in student government at the University of Arizona in the 1980s, and after law school, they reconnected as attorneys working in the government relations department in the Phoenix office of a large law firm in the early 1990s.
Wendy and Jeff later founded Veridus in 2008 with a small team and a big vision: to become the most effective and respected public affairs firm in Arizona: offering much more than just top lobbying services.
To achieve this vision, they knew they had to create a large, bi-partisan team filled with top talent that could engage at all levels of government in a multi-disciplinary manner. In addition to adding excellent lobbyists, they also found top talent to provide communications, procurement and strategic consulting services.
Today, Veridus is the largest and most effective public affairs firm in Arizona that prioritizes humility, honesty, obsession with client success, work ethic and deep relationships with community leaders. These values embodies Veridus as it delivers client success through collaboration with elected officials on both sides of the aisle.
