About Bobby
Bobby Charette is a well-connected public affairs operative with experience working in some of the region’s highest-profile public policy battles. In addition to communications counsel, he provides clients with intel and opposition research that can make the winning difference in public policy engagements.
Bobby joined Veridus in 2022 after serving Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey in multiple capacities as a member of his communications team, 2018 re-election campaign and the Arizona Commerce Authority. Bobby assisted the administration with messaging, strategic communications and research across an array of topics, and worked with external stakeholders, the media and state agencies. Bobby came to Arizona from California, where he worked in public affairs on policy debates that ranged from healthcare to housing.
Bobby’s previous experience included serving as Digital Media Manager for Right to Rise USA, a Super PAC that supported Jeb Bush’s 2016 campaign for president, where he produced innovative digital content featured in The New York Times and POLITICO. Earlier, he was a roving correspondent for The Washington Free Beacon and worked on Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign.
Bobby graduated from Penn State. In between adventures with his wife, Ashton, he enjoys competing in obstacle courses and foot races with his son, Conor, and daughter, Charlie, around the East Valley.
