Phoenix, AZ – Veridus LLC is proud to announce the addition of Bobby Charette, who served as Communications Director for the Arizona Commerce Authority and, earlier, as Director of Research under Governor Doug Ducey. Bobby’s campaign experience includes Governor Ducey’s 2018 reelection effort, as well as Right to Rise USA, the Super PAC supporting Jeb Bush’s 2016 campaign for U.S. president.
"Bobby’s passion for Arizona and outstanding communications skills were integral in serving the ACA’s mission to make our state the best in the country for business and innovation,” said Sandra Watson, President & CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority. “We look forward to seeing Bobby thrive in this new opportunity and wish him the best."
Bobby brings a decade’s worth of crisis communications, campaign and public affairs expertise to Veridus, where he will assist with and broaden the suite of communications and media relations services available to the firm’s current and future clients.
“Bobby is a dynamic PR professional and brings to Veridus a wealth of experience and media relationships from working in Arizona and nationally,” said Matthew Benson, who leads the communications team as a Partner at Veridus. “We’re thrilled to welcome Bobby to Veridus and look forward to having his assistance in working with our clients.”
“Veridus is Arizona’s top strategic communications and lobbying firm, and joining this team has been a dream of mine for years,” Bobby said. “I look forward to contributing to Veridus and supporting our clients in the public policy debates that will help shape the future of this state. As I move forward to tackle this new challenge, I’m grateful to Governor Ducey and Sandra Watson for the opportunities I was afforded in the administration to serve the people of Arizona.”
Prior to joining the Arizona Commerce Authority in 2021, Bobby was Director of Research for Governor Ducey (2018-2021); and served as Research Director for the Ducey 2018 re-election campaign.
