About Ryan
Ryan Sullivan is a legislative veteran with over a decade of experience at the Arizona Capitol.
As a fiscal policy expert, Ryan has been part of legislative negotiations for multiple state budgets that made significant investments in education and public safety totaling $100 billion. Additionally, he has extensive knowledge of tax policy and helped enact historic tax reform policies. His expertise includes health and human services; water; insurance; natural resources; and economic development.
Ryan earned from Arizona State University his bachelor’s in Political Science and two minors in History and Global Studies, as well as a Master’s in Public Administration. While attending college, Ryan worked in Washington, D.C., studied religious conflict in Israel and taught English in South Korea. He now enjoys serving as part of the ASU School of Politics & Global Studies advisory board.
Ryan grew up in the East Valley where he still lives with his wife, Brittany, and their children. He enjoys spending time with family, attending sporting events, traveling and playing golf.
